PARTIAL, FULL & IMMEDIATE

Wilderness Dentures

Dentures are removable dental appliances, made of acrylic or chrome bars that replace missing teeth and surrounding tissue. Designed to closely resemble your natural teeth, they may even enhance your smile.

A denture can be either a complete denture or a partial denture.  A complete denture is used when all of the teeth are missing, while a partial denture is used when some of the natural teeth are present.  The purpose of a partial denture is not only to fill in the spaces created by missing teeth but also to prevent other teeth from shifting as a result.

The immediate dentures are made in advance and are placed immediately after the teeth have been removed, thus preventing the patient from being without teeth during the healing process. It will be necessary to make adjustments once the tissues have shrunk and healed. A conventional denture is made after the gum tissue and bone has healed (usually takes four to six months).

Due to normal wear and tear, dentures may need to be remade, repaired or readjusted.
